Is David Patrick Kelly my adopted son, or is he… my biological son?!
He shares his birthday with my twins, born on January 23.
Granted, he was born fifty two years before them, and twenty years before me, but still, you never know, especially with wily character actors.
I noticed his birthday on a page containing a nice summary of DPK’s theatre experience.
It’s odd but I just did an adopt an actor post and here I see you did one too.
I was making dinner the other night and my gf turned on the TV. ‘Bend It Like Beckham’ was on IFC, so my gf shouts to me, “Honey, your girlfriend is on TV.” I said, “She’s not my girlfriend, I just adopted her.” And then I thought, what the hell has Splotchy done to me?
Does he have control of space and time? Because if he did, that would easily explain it…

j.d., I just sent Mr. Kelly a series of interview questions, but I did not include this question. If he ends up responding, I will do a follow-up interview where I attempt to ascertain his possible powers over the time-space continuum.
