Just curious, did they show the filmed segments to the audience between the live bits you saw? Did they attempt to recreate the flow of the televised show for their live audience?
Yes, they did show the filmed bits on monitors Splotchy and they were pretty tightly oiled keeping the taping to not much longer than the show itself. There was one bit that Scott Thompson did that went over like a lead balloon and they cut it from the broadcast and replaced it with something else.
