I recently found a few things I liked so much I thought I should share, so here goes — my first links post.
Comcast screws with its subscribers (link via Slashdot)
Investigation into practices Comcast has been engaging in to hamper filesharing for its subscribers. Yes, there are legal forms of filesharing, smartass.
Van Halen keyboard “Jump” travesty (link via BoingBoing)
The backing recording of the keyboard to “Jump” Van Halen has been using in its latest slew of concerts is played at the wrong pitch, creating an avant garde mess.
Comedian Doug Benson’s MySpace blog
Doug Benson is just a comedian I admire. He makes a point of posting something every day, and usually it’s very, very funny. Dig into the archives, why don’tcha.
Hey, I am late to the game, I didn’t know you had a second kickass blog… I like this one a lot
I love that Van Halen video. Man.
I clicked on your friend Doug’s link but I have some sort of phobia about MySpace. Makes me feel like an old man.
moviequill, thanks for stopping by! What other blog do you speak of? Surely not my radically unpopular Who’s In Charge Here? blog. Maybe you see Beckeye as a contributor and are directing this comment to her? She’s not normally on this blog, but will be briefly here, hosting the next Green Monkey Music Project.
tim, incredible, ain’t it? God bless the Internet is all I got to say.
cp, oh, he’s not my friend, in real life or on MySpace. He’s just a comedian who happens to post funny stuff (in my opinion). I actually tend to avoid MySpace because it makes my eyes bleed, but I’ll periodically look at the blogs of some comedians there.
There was a story in the local paper about an old grandma who went down to her Comcast office with a HAMMER and started beating up their office equipment and demanding better service!
