Sitting here a little melancholy, thinking about happier times. Remembered the days when I would travel with a furniture dealer from Alabama to Chicago to buy used furniture to re-sell back home in Al. Anyway, googled Spa Motel Chicago and clicked on your site. The Spa looked exactly as I remembered it in the 70’s when we would stay there. I was in high school and every other weekend in the summer I would make a few bucks helping drive, loading furniture. I recall a Jewell market just up the street with a fantastic deli and a Pakistani restaurant across the street that was outstanding. I do recall the hookers hanging out in the bar and sitting around the pool. The guy would stop in Kentucky and buy SACKS of cigarettes, as soon as we checked in a Hispanic guy would come to the room and “take” the cigarettes off our hands. Haven’t been back since 1973 but I’ll always remember the Spa motel, thanks for your site.

DAMN!
Ah well… probably would have chosen something jinappropriate.
😀
Jin, don’t you have something to do this afternoon, anyways?
Hey, you’re posting and it’s not a Tuesday! I got here too late, unfortunately. I was going to ask you to doodle an Unconnected Tuesday.
BeckEye, everyone knows I post Unconnected Tuesdays on Wednesday, occasionally on Thursday. Sheesh.
Oui! Oui!
Is using the text part of paint illegal?
One of my favorite doodles.
Freida, yes, using the text tool is VERY ILLEGAL for my 60 second doodle.
