One U2 Mystery Solved, Another Still A Mystery

For those who have wondered over the years why Bono is rarely seen without some form of tinted or colored glasses, the latest issue of Rolling Stone sheds some light on the question.

As you can see, Bono is in the late stage of the disease called inkgoopyeye.

Though not life-threatening, this disease can result in the occasional joke or jab from a random person on the Internet.

Unfortunately, this issue of Rolling Stone does not clear up the reason(s) behind the ever-present stocking cap on the head of The Edge, a phenomenon which continues to baffle scientists and junior high school students.

Note that a piece of paper has been taped over the sign between “WE” and “MOVE”. I’m not sure what the word was. To make the sign grammatically correct, I suppose the word could be “WILL”, but I’m not sure that word could fit in that space in that font.

According to Babelfish, nos movimos translates to “we moved”, so that makes it even less likely the taped-over word is “WILL”.

I Do Fancy The Theatre

I am seriously considering buying a ticket to the Eugene O’Neill play Desire Under The Elms at Chicago’s Goodman Theatre next week.

I am not that familiar with the works of Eugene O’Neill, but I do know he is a very respected playwright, who has written many highly-regarded plays. The Goodman is an established, popular venue, known for putting on consistently high-quality productions.

I am not a regular patron of the theatre, but I might have to venture forth for their latest offering, for my own personal reasons.
