{"id":1193,"date":"2008-01-26T22:45:00","date_gmt":"2008-01-26T22:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/isplotchy.com\/blog\/?p=1193"},"modified":"2013-05-04T01:43:48","modified_gmt":"2013-05-04T01:43:48","slug":"my-problem-with-rudolph-the-red-nosed-reindeer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/isplotchy.com\/blog\/2008\/01\/my-problem-with-rudolph-the-red-nosed-reindeer\/","title":{"rendered":"My Problem With Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So I have kids, and I sing a lot, so I sometimes sing kid songs out of the blue.<\/p>\n<p>I have noticed I consistently mess up the the last few lines of Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, and for the life of me can&#8217;t remember the right lyrics when I&#8217;m singing.<\/p>\n<p><span>Here&#8217;s the correct last few lines:<\/span><br \/><span>Then all the reindeer loved him <br \/>as they shouted out with glee, <br \/>Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, <br \/>you&#8217;ll go down in history! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Here&#8217;s what I sing:<\/span><br \/><span>Then all the other reindeer<br \/>Who used to laugh and call him names&#8230; <br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Then I&#8217;m stuck.  I know Rudolph goes down in history, but I don&#8217;t know how to get there from the reindeer who used to laugh at him.<\/p>\n<p>Seriously, Rudolph is supposed to forget over the course of one song that all those reindeer who made him miserable are now all nice and buddy-buddy with him?<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t think so.  And I&#8217;m not going to believe this song has a happy ending.
