{"id":1591,"date":"2007-08-16T18:16:00","date_gmt":"2007-08-16T18:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/isplotchy.com\/blog\/?p=1591"},"modified":"2013-05-04T01:49:38","modified_gmt":"2013-05-04T01:49:38","slug":"how-do-you-feel-about","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/isplotchy.com\/blog\/2007\/08\/how-do-you-feel-about\/","title":{"rendered":"How Do You Feel About&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/isplotchy.com\/images\/blog\/kiss.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/isplotchy.com\/images\/blog\/kiss.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\"><\/a><br \/>On my <a href=\"http:\/\/wichone.blogspot.com\/\">other blog<\/a>, for the current band I&#8217;m highlighting, Mr. Speed (a KISS tribute band), regular visitors <a href=\"http:\/\/prone2whimsy.blogspot.com\/\">Flannery Alden<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jesswundrun.blogspot.com\/\">Jess<\/a> have politely abstained from voting.  <\/p>\n<p>They have been really supportive of my writing both here and on my new blog, for which I am eternally thankful.  They have also both had some marvelous insights regarding band dynamics.<\/p>\n<p>There are countless possible reasons why they chose to abstain, but I inferred my own reasons, and now I have a strange little thought rattling around in my head.  Was the vote declined due to an underlying hostility to KISS?<\/p>\n<p>Then it got me thinking.  How do people in general feel about KISS?  They were absolutely huge back when I was a kid.
