{"id":4527,"date":"2013-07-05T23:26:09","date_gmt":"2013-07-06T04:26:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/isplotchy.com\/blog\/?p=4527"},"modified":"2013-07-05T23:40:55","modified_gmt":"2013-07-06T04:40:55","slug":"parade-remnants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/isplotchy.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/parade-remnants\/","title":{"rendered":"Parade Remnants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When I was negotiating the sale of my <a href=\"https:\/\/isplotchy.com\/blog\/2013\/06\/remnants\/\" target=\"_blank\">sports card collection<\/a>, Michael Osacky had indicated as a possible enticement that he would write about my collection for Parade Magazine. \u00a0My story would be up in lights! \u00a0Or newspaper! \u00a0Anyways, he indicated he had some sort of role as a columnist for the magazine.<\/p>\n<p>After I published my blog post, I sent him the link. \u00a0He got back to me a little later and thanked me.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday he sent me a link to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.parade.com\/50252\/michaelosacky\/in-search-of-sports-cards-getting-the-collecting-bug-from-dad\/\" target=\"_blank\">his own article<\/a>. \u00a0From what I can tell, this was his first article for Parade.<\/p>\n<p>I thanked him for the article, but then after a while I started thinking about it.<\/p>\n<p>He didn&#8217;t link to my original blog post at all. \u00a0I couldn&#8217;t remember what stories I told him, and what stories he might have gotten from the blog post.
