The Diplomat is the southernmost Hooker Motel, located just North of Foster Avenue.

As with a number of the other Hooker Motels, color television is one of the amenities included in a lodger's stay. |

A strange textured pattern covers the motel's eastern exterior wall. |
I apologize for the darkness of this image. On the night this picture was taken, the Diplomat's neon was only partially functioning, and the photograph was underexposed as well.
The Diplomat has since gotten more of its neon working, so I will hopefully be able to bring you some finer examples of the motel at nighttime. |
